This page explains how users can request deletion of their EventBridge account and associated data. Deleting your account is permanent for the identifiers and profile data described below, subject to legal retention exceptions.
In-app deletion (recommended)
- Open EventBridge and sign in.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the request.
Email deletion request (if you cannot use the app)
If you cannot access the app, email us:
- To: support@eventbridge.africa
- Subject: Account deletion request
- Include: the email address or phone number on your account, and whether you are a customer or a service provider (vendor).
What we delete
Upon a completed deletion request, we remove or anonymize, where technically possible:
- Your account profile and login identifiers tied to EventBridge
- Vendor or customer profile fields stored on the Platform
- Media attached to your profile (for example avatar or portfolio items), where removable
- Push notification tokens for your devices
What may be retained
Some information may be kept for only as long as required by applicable law or for legitimate business needs, including:
- Accounting, tax, or billing records for platform subscriptions
- Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms
- Security or fraud-prevention logs, aggregated or minimized where possible
Processing timeline
- We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days.
- We aim to complete deletion within 30 days, unless the law requires a different schedule or we need limited extra time for complex accounts.
